As dawn breaks on World Environment Day, volunteers and members of The Sarb Naujwan Welfare Society gather with a shared sense of purpose, driven by their unwavering commitment to Mother Earth. The Sarb Naujwan Welfare Society (SNWS) endeavors to create a ripple effect of positive change. Through workshops, awareness campaigns, and hands-on initiatives, we empower individuals to become stewards of the environment, fostering a culture of sustainability and conservation.

Tree Plantation Day
Every year, amidst the gentle whispers of leaves and the promise of new life, the Sarb Naujwan Welfare Society comes together to celebrate “Tree Plantation Day” with fervor and dedication. On this significant occasion, volunteers, supporters, and environmental enthusiasts from all walks of life converge in a collective effort to sow the seeds of change and nurture the earth’s green lungs. But our commitment doesn’t end with the planting of saplings. Sarb Naujwan Welfare Society remains steadfast in its resolve to nurture these young trees, providing them with the care and support they need to flourish and thrive. Through regular monitoring and maintenance efforts, we ensure that each sapling grows into a mighty sentinel of nature, standing tall against the tide of environmental degradation.

Lohri
Lohri is a vibrant and significant festival in the Punjab region, traditionally marking the end of winter and the arrival of longer days. When celebrated by organizations such as The Sarb Naujwan Welfare Society (SNWS), the festival embodies community spirit, cultural heritage, and the importance of togetherness. SNWS is a community organization dedicated to the welfare and development of youth and the broader community. Their mission often involves promoting cultural values, providing educational opportunities, and engaging in various philanthropic activities. The event features performances of Bhangra and Gidda, traditional Punjabi dances that add to the festive atmosphere. These performances often involve both the youth and elders, showcasing the intergenerational transmission of cultural practices.

Independence Day
Independence Day at The Sarb Naujwan Welfare Society (SNWS) is a vibrant and heartfelt celebration that highlights the organization’s commitment to community, patriotism, and cultural heritage. Each year, SNWS meticulously plans a series of events and activities to mark this significant day, ensuring it is both educational and entertaining for all participants. The day begins with a solemn flag-hoisting ceremony. A respected member of the community, often a senior or a notable guest, is invited to hoist the national flag. As the flag ascends, the national
anthem is sung with great fervor by all attendees, instilling a profound sense of pride and patriotism.

Republic Day
The Sarb Naujwan Welfare Society (SNWS) recently celebrated Republic Day with great enthusiasm and patriotism, reflecting the true spirit of this national holiday. The society organized a variety of cultural performances showcasing the rich diversity of India. Children and adults participated in traditional dance performances. The well-coordinated events broughtm together members of the community, highlighting the importance of unity and collective celebration of national heritage. The day’s activities not only commemorated India’s Republic Day but also reinforced the values of democracy, diversity, and national unity among the participants.
